Not too much scarfey action lately. I seem to rip out more than I actually knit. *sigh*
Still, I have started a Karius for myself. It’s a good portable project and I won’t be wearing it until the fall anyway, so it doesn’t matter if it takes a while.
On a brighter note, a baby cardigan and booties (and another pair of booties for a colleague at work) have been finished. The cardigan is the Garter Stitch Baby Kimono and I think the attached i-cord edging really makes it:
The booties are both Shake Your Sockies (by me) and are just beautiful (imo):
And yes, that pair was photographed on the dashboard of the car as we drove to New Haven to catch the MetroNorth train to New York. The prospective grandpa was in town and we made a flying visit down for the day to walk around, catch up on about 5 or 6 years of chatting, and have lunch.
In further knitting news, the Strawberry booties are being reknit right now to revamp the pattern for publication and sale on Ravelry.
The spring semester ends this week which means I’ll wrap up my blogging at better meta for the time being. Maybe I’ll find the time to get more blogging here (and more knitting, of course!) done than usual. That would be nice.
